You posted a review at 2009-11-27 02:42:06 for The Eight: A Novel.(Language: English)   This was an overall interesting read. I liked to twin connected stories set 200 years apart that the author developed throughout. Connected to chess, but nothing serious about it. The premise was a bit far-fetched and it seemed like it had to include just about every major historical figure of the late 18th and early 19th centuries...which got a bit cumbersome at times. |
