You posted a review at 2010-03-21 10:20:41 for Abraham: A Journey to the Heart of Three Faiths (P.S.).(Language: English) Pretty interesting read overall, especially in giving one the perspectives on Abraham from the Jewish and Islamic faiths. I did not agree with lots of things on his presentation of the Christian perspective, though there were some good insights. It just didn't come through what I would call a true, well-read, biblical viewpoint. The Bishop of the Orthodox Church over Golgatha, for example, isn't going to be exactly in line with a deep, theological, evangelical perspective. But it was overall a thought-provoking read in many ways and well worth it. |
