You posted a review at 2010-02-16 03:52:42 for Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt: A Novel.(Language: English) What an incredible book--I really loved it! Anne Rice has done a wonderful job of fleshing out the historical context in which Jesus grew up. This is the first of a three volume series on Jesus--and is told from a (challenging) first-person perspective. In this first volume she does a great job in creatively filling in the blanks and spaces basically found in Matt 1-2 and Luke 1-2. Can't wait to read the next two volumes. Make sure to read the "Author's Note" at the book's end--very, very illuminating background on how she came to write and research the book.
