Another good read by an author I've grown to like a lot. His novels are very character-driven, with lots of interior-space and psychological tension. Characters are thrown into & through some difficult situations, circumstances, and relationships--and then have to deal with the consequences and fall-out from their choices. Kennedy's writing style is smooth and keeps you turning the pages to find out how the main character--this being another of his first-person woman novels--will deal with everything thrown at them.
